Bareilly Ki Barfi (English: Bareilly's Barfi) is a 2017 Indian romantic comedy film, directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, while Rajkummar Rao plays a pivotal role. It was released worldwide on 18 August 2017. The film turned out to be both a critical and a commercial success at the box office. The story is based on the French novel The Ingredients of Love,written by Nicolas Barreau The film got eight nominations at the 63rd Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Supporting Actress for Seema Bhargava and won Best Director for Tiwari and Best Supporting Actor for Rao.
